Game Changers!

Lesson: British Values

Class: Year 6 Year: 2021 - 2022

Year 6 recently entered the Manchester United Foundation Game Changers competition to celebrate Black History Month.

After a fantastic presentation, each child completed their own design to inspire others. They researched a variety of different people who had been game changers in their field - entries included Malorie Blackman, Benjamin Zephaniah and Alex Scott.

One entry had to be chosen and that was Isa's, Marcus Rashford design. Working alongside Esther and Wojciech, the canvas was painted and now Marcus proudly lives on our school corridor aptly named Inspiration Street.

The small group said that they wanted to choose Marcus Rashford to show the other children that you can always make a difference and that everyone is important enough to deserve respect.

“Together as God’s children we will, love, learn, grow, inspire, Let your light shine”.
